Main Objectives of the Bio-tour
The Hengchun Ecological / Bio-dynamic Farm produces various of crops and quite a few wild animals especially many kinds of migratory birds in the farm.
The Kenting National Park is a tropical botanical garden, located in the southern tip of Taiwan. The coral reefs are rich of marine resources, too. It is a very popular recreation place and ecological education area.
Introduction
The Hengchun Ecological Farm is a bio-dynamic farm, which was established in 1990. The farmers produce vegetables and herbs. Majority of the farm is tropical wetland in the 48 hectares. There are various of wild animals living here. The farm is a famous area to watch the migrated birds every autumn and winter. The Bird Family 8 Space Station was established in the farm in 2017 to conserve ecological diversity.
The Kenting National Park is only twenty minutes away from the farm, which located in the southern tip of Taiwan. There are abundant of tropical plants and marine resources in the 78 hectares. The Bio-tour arrange the landscape to enjoy the recreation spot and exposure to Taiwan culture. (Please visit website hppts://www.ktnp.gov.tw Multilingual available)
This one-day bio-tour you can enjoy the experience of both sub-tropical and tropical landscape as well.

1.The participants experience the farm integrated humans, animals, plants in Taiwan.
2. The participants enjoy an intellectual journey. You can realize local culture including diverse of the languages, people, climate, ecology, food and society. Meanwhile, you can enjoy an authentic organic meal.
Language of the Bio-Tour
The tour-guide will be bilingual both of Chinese and English.
Fee: NT$ 2000 (preferred) or US$65 or €61 or CHF61 for each participant. (Transportation, lunch, tickets, tips, insurance and bilingual tour guide expense all are included). Cash will be collected before boarding.
Additional information or specific request
1.The bio-tour organizers are glad to offer 3 free participants assigned by OWC.
2.The fare including transportations, organic lunch, tickets, insurance, tips and bilingual tour guide. (No extra expense, Minimum passengers 30. Otherwise the Bio-tour will be cancelled)
3.We recommend the participants to book the Hoya resort Hotel Chiyi, who has signed an agreement with 2024 OWC Taiwan. The hotel is only 4.7 km from the conference venue. It will save your time in transportation.
4. Please provide your name, nationality, birthday and passport number for insurance application.
5. Hengchun means” All year round is spring” in Chinese. There is few rainy-day in December. You can wear summer clothes on the bio-tour. However, a jacket on hand is recommended, for the Conference Venue (Chiyi) is much cooler than Hengchun in winter.
6. Please get in and out of car/bus through the right door. Pedestrians please use zebra crossing. It is a bit long journey, please always be on time!

簡 介
本生態之旅主要為恆春生態生物動力有機農場，該農場成立1990年，是一個佔地面積達48公頃熱帶濕地園區，除原有的生物動力農場外，2017年成立鳥族8太空站，保育生態多樣化，尤以鳥類棲息在此悠遊覓食，農業與動物保育相輔相成實現真正的永續發展，農場也是賞鳥的好去處。

1.本生態之旅提供三名免費名額，名單由大會指定。
2.本生態之旅費用包括旅社至景點往返交通、有機午餐、門票、保險及小費。(沒外加費用，如報名人數不足30人本活動取消)
3.為避免在不同旅館間接送浪費時間，我們建議參加本生態之旅的旅客們，訂在同一間由大會簽約之旅館，目前大會只完成一間旅館嘉義富野度假酒店，且該酒店距會場最近推薦該酒店。
4.為辦理保險請提供姓名、國籍、出生年月日與護照號碼。
5.恆春是一年四季都不冷，沒有冬天十二月也很少下雨，最適合到恆春去旅遊，不過嘉義偶而為全台最冷，出門還是要帶夾克。
